Have you ever wanted to just sit down with an allergist and ask all your food allergy questions?

Office Hours offer exactly that!

Office Hours are remote, one-on-one sessions for parents of kiddos with food allergies. These sessions are 100% educational and designed to answer important questions about food allergies and food allergy-related issues, such as allergy testing, epinephrine auto-injectors, and school food allergy preparedness.

Office Hours are led by Dr. Alice Hoyt and other educators at the Hoyt Institute of Food Allergy.

You will come away from the session with a clearer understanding of food allergies and food allergy-related issues.

Have the non-rushed conversation you envision.

Live with less stress and more joy.

You likely have an allergist, but your allergy appointments focus on clinical management of your kiddo's food allergy. This leaves little time to discuss in-depth your questions about all-things food allergies.

Office Hours meet this need!

Food Allergy Office Hours Q&A

How is an Office Hours session set up?

You will talk with our Care Navigator to schedule your session at a time convenient for you. Sessions are conducted via videoconference and last ~45 minutes.

Is this a medical appointment?

No. This session is purely educational and should not be considered medical advice. This appointment should, however, expand your food allergy knowledge and, thus, enrich your discussions with your allergist.

Are Office Hours sessions available for parents anywhere?

Yes! We are able to serve families across the country and the globe through Office Hours for Parents!

Who will attend my session?

We want this session to be as helpful to you and your family as possible. In addition to you and Dr. Hoyt being in the session, you may invite up to three other individuals to participate as well.

How do I prepare?

Once your session is booked, you'll be provided the Pre-Session Workbook. We request you complete this prior to your appointment so that you can get the most out of your session.

What should I expect during the session?

During the session, your Educator will answer your food allergy questions. You'll come away from the session feeling empowered because you will be empowered with a whole new level of knowledge, allowing you to live with less stress and more joy!

What happens after the session?

Your Educator will send you a recap of what was discussed at your appointment along with recommendations on what to discuss with your allergist.
